Please read all the conditions stated carefully
before you sign up for any of our tours. . We
are a reputed Tour Operator Company licensed to
operate by the Government of Himachal Pradesh,
India.We accept your bookings on the understanding
that you realize the hazards involved in any kind
of adventure holiday, including injury, disease,
loss or damage to property, inconveniences and
discomfort. The whole philosophy of this type
of travel is that it allows for alternatives and
a degree of flexibility.
All bookings must be made with:
Shambhala West Himalayan Explorations,
VPO-Prini,
Post Office Manali -175131,
District Kullu,
Himachal Pradesh, India.
Our tour prices do not include: Airport taxes,
airfare, costs associated with visa applications,
travel insurance, tips, gratuities and other personal
expenses.
All hotel costs are for room only and do not include
food. Additional costs incurred due to delays,
or trip extensions, inclement weather conditions,
political disputes, illness or any other causes
beyond our control will have to borne by you.
No refund will be given in case of any unused
hotel accommodation, services, or features of
the tour.
Medical vaccinations, visas, travel insurance
and flight bookings are entirely your own responsibility.
Unless otherwise requested by you.
You must have adequate insurance cover whenever
you travel. This is essential. This cover should
cover helicopter rescue, urgent medical treatment
and surface or air transportation costs to the
nearest medical facility. Shambhala guides and
leaders are not trained medical personnel and
can only extend basic first aid in case of an
emergency. However we will do everything possible
to help and support the injured or sick.
Any cancellation must be made in writing and the
date of receipt of the letter by us will determine
the amount of cancellation fees.
Normally our regulations are:
Loss of deposit if cancellation received
three months before tour date.
70 - 28 Days before tour - 50% of tour price charged
Less than 28 days before tour date- Full
tour price charged
You can however transfer your booking to a person
known to you in case you're traveling with us
become impossible due to any health or other serious
causes.
We reserve the right to cancel any tour if a minimum
number specified for the tour is not met 10 weeks
before departure in which case a full refund will
be given.
We cannot be held responsible for any damages
incurred or liable for any other claims due to
cancellation. If you do have a complaint please
inform your tour leader. If at the end of your
holiday you feel your complaint was not handled
properly please tell us within 28 days of your
return. We however are responsible to you for
the proper performance of our obligations.
Any surface and air transportation used on your
trip with us is subject to local laws and the
terms and conditions of the transport operators.
We reserve the right to modify, cancel or change
any means of transport, hotels, or itinerary in
case the tour leader or group feels it is important
for the safety of the group to comply with government
regulations. Changes in itineraries may be caused
by local political conditions, flight cancellations,
mechanical breakdowns, weather, border restrictions,
sickness or other unforeseeable circumstances.
We cannot be held responsible for any loss
or damage of personal property.
You agree to abide by the decisions taken by the
tour leader who represents Shambhala West Himalayan
Explorations as he has your best interests in
mind. If you commit any illegal act while on our
tour or if in the reasonable opinion of the leader
your behavior is causing or likely to cause danger,
distress or annoyance to others we may terminate
your travel agreement without any liability on
our part.
You are aware that whether in civilized or remote
areas traveling by plane, car, bus, foot, horseback
or any other means of transport contains some
inherent risk of illness, injury or death. You
are also aware that medical facilities and services
may not be readily available during some of the
time you are on a trek or safari and will not
hold Shambhala West Himalayan Explorations, their
staff, their agents and associates from all legal
action, claims or demands for damages resulting
from your participation in any of our trips.
You must be medically and physically capable of
participating in our tours. In case our group
leader feels that a person's health is at risk
either to him or to the group he has the right
to ask that person to leave without a refund.
The terms and conditions of all agreements made
with Shambhala West Himalayan Explorations will
be subject to and governed by Indian law.
The signing of the booking form indicates that
the person signing the form has read the conditions
and agrees to abide by them. Don't worry you're
in safe hands.
